THOUGHTFUL LOGIC.
DEPENDABLE SYSTEMS.
BUILT AROUND THE WAY YOU WORK

Small operation.
Full attention.

For the equipment you rely on, you need someone who takes the time to understand it. TLC PLC brings clear thinking, practical solutions, and a personal stake in getting it right.

FOCUSED ON YOUR SYSTEM

01 / WHAT I DO

Make it work.
Make it make sense.

Support for existing equipment and new controls projects, with a scope that fits the job.

01PLC programming

Clear, maintainable logic for machines, pumps, and process equipment. From a small sequence change to a new control program, the goal is the same: predictable operation.

  • Sequence development & logic changes
  • Interlocks, alarms & operator controls
  • Program backups & documentation
02Troubleshooting & support

Find the reason behind the fault, the intermittent shutdown, or the sequence that never quite works. Start with the symptoms, follow the signals, and leave you with a clear explanation.

  • PLC & I/O diagnostics
  • Sensor, communications & sequence checks
  • Remote review or scheduled site visits
03HMI & controls upgrades

Give operators useful information and a simpler way to interact with the equipment. Plan upgrades around your existing system and the downtime you can actually accommodate.

  • Operator screens & alarm clarity
  • Legacy system review & migration planning
  • Device integration & communications
04Commissioning & handoff

Check the inputs, prove the sequence, and make sure the people running the system know what to expect. A useful handoff includes the files and notes needed for the next service visit.

  • Point checks & functional verification
  • Startup support & punch-list resolution
  • As-left files & operator walkthroughs

PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

Real equipment.
Everyday problems.

The kind of work I take on.

01 / FLUID SYSTEMS

Pumps & water systems

Lead/lag sequencing, level control, run status, and alarms that help you see what is happening.

02 / MACHINE CONTROL

Machines & processes

Reliable start/stop sequences, useful fault messages, and sensible changes to existing logic.

03 / OPERATOR VISIBILITY

Clearer interfaces

HMI screens that put status, setpoints, and alarms where operators can find them.

02 / THE APPROACH

No mystery.
No runaround.

You should know what’s being changed, why it’s being changed, and what to expect next.

Start with a conversation
  1. 01

    Understand the system

Talk through the issue, review the available files, and look at how the equipment is meant to operate.

  2. 02

    Agree on a clear scope

Define the work, timing, and site requirements up front. If the job changes, we talk before moving ahead.

  3. 03

    Implement. Check. Explain.

Make the changes, verify operation, and walk through the result with the people who use the system.

  4. 04

    Leave a useful handoff

Provide the current program, backups, and practical notes so the next person has a clear starting point.

03 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROGRAM

One person.
Accountable for the work.

TLC PLC is an independent controls operation based on O‘ahu. When you get in touch, you’re talking to the person who will review your system, do the work, and answer your questions afterward.

I keep the operation small on purpose. That means direct communication, realistic commitments, and attention to the details that make a system serviceable long after startup.

A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before we get started.

Can you work on an existing system?

That’s a good place to start. Share the controller model, any available program files, and a description of the issue. I’ll review the fit before committing to the work.

Do you offer remote support?

Yes, when the system and access arrangements allow it. File reviews and some troubleshooting can be handled remotely. Site work is scheduled when hands-on checks are needed.

What should I send with an inquiry?

A short description of the equipment and issue, your location, the PLC or HMI model if known, and any timing constraints. Photos and existing drawings can be helpful once we connect.

Can you help with a small job?

Absolutely. A small logic change, a confusing alarm, or a backup that needs organizing can be a worthwhile project. We’ll establish a sensible scope together.

LET’S GET THE DETAILS RIGHT

What are
you working on?

A troublesome sequence? An aging controller? A new piece of equipment? Tell me a little about it, and we’ll figure out a sensible next step.
